Mightyena's Grin by LunarSpoon Mightyena's Grin by LunarSpoon
I drew this insanely fast one day during lunch break at a bowling tournament. I'm still proud and surprised of the results. :D

In pencil and pen.
Mightyena from Pokemon, Nintendo

That is great. I have trouble with more straight on faces like that.

That Mightyena's smile is more beautiful than that of the Mona Lisa. I might be biased as a Mightyena lover (and general fluffy canine lover), though. <3

Why thank you very much! :pat: I'm an Arcanine person, myself.

Arcanine is a beaut, and I admire that species very, very much. However, going off on a tangent, am I the only person who's noticed that Blaine's Arcanine has its black markings arranged differently than on any other official artwork of Arcanine? This is especially strange considering that Ken Sugimori provided the illustration; I've become very, very attentive to the markings on Arcanine fanart as a result of this.

Yeah I'm pretty tight about markings sometimes, too. :P But think of it like a tiger: the stripes could be different.

Maybe Blaine's Arcanine is a beautiful or unique snowflake or something.

At the same time, I'd expect more variance in the official artwork if Arcanine's stripes were like Spinda's spots or even Arbok's markings. So I dunno. :)
