To anyone who doesn't follow my Facebook page, this is what happened... I was out of state for a wedding and brought my SD with all of my writing on it: comic scripts, info, a lot of notes, etc. so I could work on stuff during my down time, but all of a sudden my card snapped in half and I lost literally months and months and months of work. It was like having a beloved pet die prematurely that won't come back to life no matter how many times you zap it with lightning.
I'd thought that I had backup somewhere on my computer but it turns out I didn't and for a few days after the incident, I could only feel dread. The most important thing on that card was the entirety of chapter 1 of Dr. Numbers which I had just finished. The card is absolutely unfixable, and I've already moved on so don't give advice on how to fix it; at this point I've decided to rewrite absolutely everything but this time it is going to be better and much more organized. It's not like I broke my memories and care in half.
So maybe I fucked myself for a reason. From now on, all my writing will be done online.

Basic character development tips! I am not a "professional," but I am a pro at going brain-dead when I see the same cookie-cutter character cliches and stereotypes show up too often.
