A Dozen Pokemon

It takes me forever, that's why I don't color very often. This illustration has been on-and-off in the works for over a month, but it's one of those drawings that turned out almost exactly the way I pictured it in my head and for that, I am supremely glad. >w<b

These are more or less my twelve favorite Pokemon, but I wanted to make this drawing more diverse by type so there's a lot of characters I had to leave out.

Raichu: Once upon a time I had Yellow version as a kid and stopped playing once I realized that evolving Pikachu wasn't possible. I've always loved Raichu and will go out of my way to get one in my party in every single game.
Arcanine: It's always a tie between Arcanine and Ninetales but for this, I chose Arcanine because I felt the size of tiger-dog would make the drawing more visually diverse.
Mew: In terms of character, it's the best. In every movie, Mew is some kinda troll that barely gives a damn. I always liked the idea of Mew resembling an embryo, too.
Breloom: Mushroom dinosaur is best gen 3 Pokeman. His arms are stretchy.
Seviper: I love poison types, snakes, and things with fangs. When gen 3 first came out I used to have official action figures of Seviper and Aggron. I miss those.
Lucario: You can quote me on this: Lucario is my favorite Pokemon. I love its design, its Fighting/Steel type, and Lucario is my main in SSB. In Diamond when you get an egg during the story, it hatches into Riolu. Mine hatched into the 12.5%-chance female so I named it Lulu (which often is the nickname I make when I play SSB lol). Also Lucario and the Mystery of Mew makes me cry an unnecessary amount.
Glaceon: Always my favorite Eevee evolution and imo, one of the best designed Pokemon period. One of the cutest to play with in Amie, too. :3
Furfrou: Why can't I stay away from this thing? Poodles are one of my favorite dog breeds and idk I just love its pointy nose and anime hair. Speaking of, I gave it my own "classic french poodle" haircut. With normal Pokemon, Furret is my second fave.
Golurk: I have no explanation. It's so weird, so awesome, and reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus. Golurk can also learn Fly. (???)
Xerneas: I've been in love with Xerneas ever since X and Y came out, but I am never drawing it again, sry. I'm always a fan of the "giant, mystical, big-antlered, Japanese deer god"-esque legends.
Primarina: Not gonna lie, Milotic has been my favorite water type for a long time but in the middle of sketching, I changed it to Primarina once I played more of Sun. It's so adorable and pretty! It's Z-moves are amazing! I love Primarina so much, my inner little girl screams when I hear it whistle. >u<
Mimikyu: It's so creepy and depressing, but a funny design and backstory. My favorite Ghost-type.

If you know me, you'll know that I had been saving for my new art scanner for a very long time. Want to know a basic difference between my $1200 graphic arts scanner and my old A4 document scanner? Notice the light gray on Furfrou's fur--my old scanner would have never been able to pick up a single bit of that shading. It's a truly beautiful thing. T.T
